Some Of What You Will See Inside

The Dorcheat Museum is a timeline of Webster Parish.  From the days of the Caddo Indians we take you back to our pioneer families that made our area what  it is. today.  We highlight famous people from our area (from an Astronaut to Grammy Award winners), when Hollywood came to town ( movies that have been filmed in the area), famous athletes (we have had many including a Heisman Winner) and our churches and schools have played an important part of what Webster Parish is today.  We include a tribute to our Military Men from Webster parish as well as a Civil War era display.  We are a small museum with some impressive exhibits.
